Malamute of the Month – Shorty

This month, we’d like to honor our girl, Shorty, as Malamute of the Month.  She is an extraordinary member of our Arctic Expedition team.

For a decade now, Shorty has impressed us with her versatility, proving herself invaluable as a leader who has also been amazing in swing, team, and wheel positions.

Just as importantly, she is a great family member!  She has such a cheerful temperament and is always ready for a belly rub or scratch behind the ears.

She is a goofy gal and a comedian in her own right.  She will never fail to bring a smile to your face.

Shorty Shorty is appropriately named because she does, in fact, have short little legs.  But that doesn’t stop her from keeping up with the team.  Nothing can stop Shorty.  With her can-do attitude, she’s a jack of all trades!

This feature on Shorty sure brought a smile to my face. One week out of ACL reconstruction I have emerged with Blaine, my steadfast Malamute by my side the whole time. It will be a while before we can romp, but those wonderful pics of Shorty certainly brought a smile to my face. Ishowed them to Blaine and he seemed very impressed!

    • Thanks, Janet! If Shorty knew her goofy photos made you and Blaine smile, she’d be one happy camper! We hope you have a quick recovery from your ACL reconstruction. That doesn’t sound like a whole lot of fun, but it’s a good thing you have your mal! They make everything better, don’t they? :)
